FAQ

  • How do I sign up for a virtual class?
Sign up and reserve using your Zen Planner.
For example, if you're NOT a member and wanting to drop into a virtual class, you will GO HERE and select the class you would like to attend. Once you have paid, you will receive an email with instructions on how to join the workout and a meeting ID. 
If you ARE a member, and CAN attend one of the virtual workouts, go reserve in Zen Planner App, as usual.
If you CANNOT attend any of the designated times, you will have to refer to the recording link we will post daily on our Facebook page (emailed out too) and then go to the app simply select the next virtual class time closest to the time you playback, check in, and complete the workout
. 


  • What do I need to join a virtual workout at home?
​​You need basic equipment (see our resource list above), a smartphone, tablet or pc (pc must have a webcam). Sign up and Download ZOOM to your computer (use Google Chrome) or install the app on your phone. You will need to set up in a space that has good lighting so your trainer can see you adequately coach you through your workout.  YES, we can see you! 


  • What music will be playing during these virtual workouts?
Due to music licensing purposes, you will be responsible for playing your own music at home. We will share Spotify and Apple Music playlists with you. You can use whatever music during your workout that you'd like, because everyone's mic will be muted until the end of the workout.

  • Do these Virtual workouts count towards my Century Challenge?
YES. We have changed the setting in your Member Connect App that will give you the ability to check yourself in! If you cannot check in, just shoot us an email or text and we will get you checked in with no problem! 


  • Will you tell us ahead of time what equipment is needed? 
Yes we will still post the weekly protocol and list which ones need what equipment so you will be ready to go for each class. But your best bet is to just keep ALL your equipment near you for EVERY workout. 


  • How long after the virtual class does it take to post the recording of the workout?
Typically it takes about an hour for us to get the recording from ZOOM. Once we receive it, we will send it out via email AND post a link to the recording on our Facebook Page, until we find a better way to get it to you. 

  • For budgeting purposes, will there be a change in our monthly membership dues?
At this moment, unfortunately no. Your dues could change to a lower rate and if so, we will notify you.


  • Will S.W.E.A.T. Camp be adding more virtual class times and options? 
We hope to as soon as we are able to get more experience going LIVE under our belts. We are definitely adding BUTI yoga and STRONG back to the schedule soon. 


  • Will the ZOOM meeting ID change? 
No, we have found that people are pretty honest and not going to sign on if they haven't paid for the class.

 
  • If I reserve a spot in class and do not attend or complete the workout for that day, will I be charged a no show fee?
No. We will waive the $10 no show fee during this time, but if we see you reserving and not doing any workouts, we will reach out to you! You can't hide! ;)


  • Will you be going live and recording the workouts from the studio or from your home? 
As of now, we are able to go to the studio, however, some of our instructors might go live from their home. 


  • Are non-members allowed to join the workouts?
Yes. We are working on marketing to non-members, as we understand that there are a lot of misplaced people who need a place to tap into for live workouts.  As soon as we are done, we will give you links and resources to share. 


  • Will we be able to communicate with other people after the workout is over?
Yes! We plan to unmute everyones mic and check in with you all and let everyone chat if you would like. 


  • ​Do I need to pay for a PRO ZOOM account?
Nope! We are the PRO account. You just need to sign up for the free account. 


  • How long will the workouts be?
Same as usual. Maybe a bit longer, but we are going to try to keep them to around 45-50 minutes. 


  • How many people will be on the ZOOM call at a time?
We can host up to 100 people for each virtual workout. 


  • Do I need to check in for each workout, or will my trainer check me in?
We have updated our setting to allow you to check yourself in for the workout each time. This means before class you can check yourself in. If you cannot, simply send me a text (858-663-5112) and I will sign you in! no problem! 


  • ​Do I need a timer for the virtual workouts? 
Nope! We will have our GYM timer behind the trainer for you to see remaining time and intervals. But, if you are going to do the SWEAT-on-the-Go workouts on your own, you will need a timer or stop watch of some sort. (See Randi's favorite interval timer apps above)


  • If I am using my phone what can I do if its too small to see you?
Depending on your phone and TV, if you have a smartphone and smart TV (most ppl do these days) you can mirror your phone to your TV or airplay to an Apple TV.
